Ms. Duke combines her legal career with a political career.  Along with her legal practice, she is currently serving a four-year term as an elected official, Chester County Treasurer.   As Treasurer, she serves on the County Pension Board.  Her legal practice includes municipal finance and governmental affairs.  She is listed in the Red Book and acts as both Issuers’ Counsel and Underwriters’ Counsel.  She advises a variety of companies and individuals in their interactions with Federal, state and local governments.  From September, 2011 through January, 2012, she was a candidate for the Republican nomination as Pennsylvania Auditor General.  She withdrew from the bid, but she maintains a vast political network throughout the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

Ms. Duke has a background as a business executive as well, having served as Senior Vice President of Retail Services for a community bank.  While in that position, Ms. Duke opened the bank to a new geographic market and managed branches and the call center.  During her tenure, she substantially increased the deposit base.  In addition to these duties, she acted as General Counsel, handling corporate governance, employment issues, including executive compensation, strategic planning, commercial real estate transactions and leasing, and intellectual property issues.  She implemented policies and procedures in compliance with regulatory requirements.

Ms. Duke brings an elected official’s sensibility to municipal finance as bond counsel.  She also enhances a 25-year legal career with her strong business experience and well-established political background.  She provides corporate clients with sound legal advice in the context of both successful executive experience and insight into a company’s political environment.
