West Chester Attorneys Contribute Time, Leadership to Local Nonprofits
January 25, 2012 - West Chester, PA - Three attorneys from West Chester law firm Gawthrop Greenwood, PC, have been tapped to serve on the boards of community organizations.
Stacey L. Fuller, Partner in the Municipal, Land Use and Education Department, has been elected to the Board of Directors of the Chester County Chamber of Business & Industry. She has previously served on the Chamber’s Accreditation and Bylaws Review Committees.
Fuller joined Gawthrop Greenwood in 2004 and concentrates her legal practice in municipal and land use law as well as education and special education law. For ten years prior, she practiced education and special education law and became a partner in a prominent Wilmington, North Carolina firm.
Patrick M. McKenna, Partner in the Municipal, Land Use and Education Department, has been elected to the Board of Directors of the Chamber of Commerce of Greater West Chester.
A Chamber member since 2004, McKenna was one of the founders of the Future Leaders of West Chester subgroup and has been an active F.L.O.W. participant since. F.L.O.W.’s mission is to facilitate and promote professional development among Chester County’s young professionals. McKenna joined Gawthrop Greenwood in 2004, where his practice focuses on municipal law, land use, real estate and business litigation.
Maureen Mackay Nacey, an Associate in the Domestic Relations Department, has been elected to the Board of Directors of the Volunteer English Program in Chester County.
Nacey joined Gawthrop Greenwood in 2006, concentrating her practice in family law, including divorce, equitable distribution, property settlement agreements, spousal support, child custody, child support and adoptions. She has been an active member of the Chester County Bar Association where she chaired the Law Related Education Committee, served as Co-Chair of the Women in the Practice Committee and the Law Day Committee, and served as a member of the Board of Directors of the Chester County Bar Foundation.
